What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry through our contact form or email us, we collect the details you provide. This normally includes your name, email address, company name, the destination market you are importing into, and the contents of your message. If you choose to give us a phone number, we collect that too. We ask only for what we need to answer your enquiry, and you may send us whatever partial information you have.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records standard technical data when you visit — including your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use this to keep the site running, to protect it against abuse, and to understand in aggregate which pages are useful.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — for example, which pages are read and roughly where visitors are located. Google Analytics sets cookies for this purpose. We use the data only in aggregate: we do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics cookies does not prevent you from using the site or contacting us.

We also use a caching layer to serve pages quickly. It stores copies of pages, not information about you.

Why we use it

We use your personal data to: respond to your enquiry and answer your questions; prepare quotations, samples, specifications and shipping estimates you ask for; keep business records of enquiries and orders; and improve this website. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar rules, our legal bases are your consent (where you have given it), the performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not use your data for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business and this website — our hosting provider, our email provider, and Google for analytics. These providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own obligations. We may also disclose data if we are legally required to do so.

Because some of these providers operate internationally, your data may be processed outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we rely on the providers’ contractual safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to maintain our business records, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up or legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings, and is deleted automatically after that period. When we no longer need personal data, we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to: confirm what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy; correct anything inaccurate; delete it where we have no continuing reason to keep it; restrict or object to how we use it; or provide it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Malaysia, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Department.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and access to the data we hold is limited to the people in our business who need it to answer enquiries and fulfil orders.

This website has no accounts or comments

You do not need to register, and there is no commenting or user-profile feature on this site. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
